Victoria Nations is a horror writer and poet, an eldergoth queer woman, a Florida native, and a biologist who is happiest wading through swamps. Liminal spaces, between water and land, or human and monster, often appear in her work.

Victoria’s fiction and essays have appeared in a number of anthologies and magazines, including Dark Matter Magazine, “Dark Spores,” Frightmarish Lit Zine, and “Fish Gather to Listen.” Her poetry has also appeared in multiple venues, including “Under Her Eye,” Horror Writers Association showcases, and the Bram Stoker Award-nominated “Mother: Tales of Love and Terror.”

Victoria is a member of the Horror Writers Association, the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association, and the Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers Association. Her poem, “Bury Me Beneath Fallen Stars,” published in Magpie Messenger Literary Journal, was nominated for a Dwarf Stars Award by the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association.

    Hi Victoria! I stopped by the Cafe today and got to listen to your reading. It was amazing and I could have listened to the whole book. Fantastic! I was not able to make it to the celebration afterwards, but maybe next time.

    I will be buying another one of your books and look forward to hearing another reading sometime soon. Take care and please continue with all the great writing.
